Yahoo! has a very nice
political dashboard with a map summarizing the
average of the latest polls and
prediction market data. It also includes information on recent searches and top new stories related to the candidates. Below is the latest projection based on prediction market data, showing the narrowest of victories for Obama looking state-by-state (273 vs. 265 Electoral votes), but with McCain having a slight edge of actually winning the whole thing (52.9%).
I do wish Yahoo! would use various shades of red and blue based on the strength of the poll/prediction market data like
ElectoralMap.net and
ElectoralMarkets.com. The map would be far more informative this way.
With the race this tight, the next couple months are bound to be quite interesting -- particularly for those of us living inside the Beltway.
