Cherry Blossoms 2008

IMG_0389

I went into DC with mom and dad to see the Cherry Blossoms today. They are currently at their peak blooming and, as always, were spectacular!

Dad and I came equipped with our cameras (as usual) and I also brought my pocket camera, which I gave to mom to use for the day. She really went to town taking 50 photos, including the two above and the one below. You can see the rest of her photos here.

As far as I know, this was her first time ever using a digital camera. Way to go mom!

Below are a few of the photos I took today:

We even ran into Triya for a little bit. I hadn't seen her in weeks!

Congrats on the job, sounds like fun.
We were at the cherry blossoms, too. Drove up to check out GMU, a job offer for my wife, and housing possibilities. The kids really liked the kites. Okay, I did, too.
