Cherry Blossoms 2008
I went into DC with mom and dad to see the Cherry Blossoms today. They are currently at their peak blooming and, as always, were spectacular!
Dad and I came equipped with our cameras (as usual) and I also brought my pocket camera, which I gave to mom to use for the day. She really went to town taking 50 photos, including the two above and the one below. You can see the rest of her photos here.
Like Father, Like Son
As far as I know, this was her first time ever using a digital camera. Way to go mom!
Below are a few of the photos I took today:
Me taking a picture of dad taking a picture of mom taking a picture...
We even ran into Triya for a little bit. I hadn't seen her in weeks!
See more of my photos from today here. (Or watch all of them as a slideshow.)
You can also see my photos of the cherry blossoms in 2006 with Lisa and Christy and 2007 with Triya and Ali.
Read last year's post on cherry blossoms here.

Congrats on the job, sounds like fun.
We were at the cherry blossoms, too. Drove up to check out GMU, a job offer for my wife, and housing possibilities. The kids really liked the kites. Okay, I did, too.
