As Gizmodo points out, the screen refresh is a bit slow. Hopefully, they will fix this before it is released. The good news is that this will have both 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity.More on Plastic Logic's reader here.
The only question is whether to get the Amazon DX or wait for this? If Apple comes out with a tablet-sized iPod Touch next month, that could make this question moot. What I want more than anything in an eBook reader is a PDF reader that is lightweight, has a large screen, and long (all-day) battery life.

Most Apple watchers do not think Apple will bring out a tablet sized iPod touch-like device next month, but more likely next year.
