Saturday Night Live just had a skit where Tina Fey did a brilliantly hilarious job imitating Sarah Palin. I'd post it, but it's a little more crude than I prefer to have on this blog. (Here's a link to the video if you'd like to watch.)
Despite the crudeness of a few remarks, the skit highlights one of the things I love about our country. Even in the midst of an intense political competition to control the White House, Americans of all political persuasions still take great joy in poking fun at their politicians and themselves.
In a lot of countries, you could get arrested (or worse) for much less than this. That's not something any of us should take for granted.
