With the increasing popularity of laptops, Walt Mossberg of the Wall Street Journal has just released his laptop buyer's guide with some very good advice for most consumers.Mossberg particularly recommends Apple laptops and Lenovo Thinkpads, which would echo my own advice. I'm also particularly impressed by what I've been hearing about the new HP Mini-Note subnotebook. My impressions of Dell are also favorable, but I would strongly recommend staying far away from Sony.
