Bollywood Night: Devdas

Last night, Triya cooked some delicious Indian food for several of us PhD students and gave us the treat of watching a Bollywood movie called Devdas. The movie was a tragic love story, masterfully choreographed with stunning videography. It was full of fantastic song and dance numbers that were all larger than life. The closest analogy I can think of is to some of the best musicals I've seen on Broadway.
