Cramming It All In

As I've been trying to cram as much into my head as I can before prelims on the 15th and 17th, I ran into my limits today. My head just wouldn't take any more.

To reduce stress and relax the mind, I've found taking a break to watch a 30- or 40-minute video after hours of reading to be enough to recharge the brain and get going again. What are some of the things I've been watching? Guns, Germs, and Steel DVD and Battlestar Galactica. A little blogging has also been a nice break.

I met with Ali and Triya tonight and realize I still have a long way to go to get ready. Unfortunately, time is quickly running out! I'm going to meet Ali again to go over some economic growth models and possibly the Mundell-Fleming model for open economies. (See more economic models here.)

I'm trying to quickly cut down the number of resources (books and notes) that I use for reference. Taking outlined notes of the books I'm reading helps me to remember things and eases studying. Wish I had done more of this throughout the year in preparation for this.

Please pray for me and my classmates.

P.S. -- Videos notwithstanding, I find this to be perhaps the best stress relief of all:
