Haha, well Brian, because I'm absolutely certain no one in their right minds would choose me over a polar bear, I'd argue that that's an unfair comparison to make. It's fine for economists to point out that we have limited resources and unlimited wants, but I'm not sure polar bears and Pakistanis can't coexist if people cut down on Pepsi and Porsches. However, the critical point is that such a decision stems from individual preferences realigning, NOT from government action, and from a policy perspective, I'm stuck being compared against a bear!!!
