Wookieepedia!!!

Star Wars represents my childhood more than just about anything else. Needless to say, you can imagine my excitement upon discovering Wookieepedia:

"Wookieepedia is a lavish and stunning homage to the Star Wars pop cultural phenomenon. Thanks to its professional appearance, the scope of its content, the quality of its writers and diligence of its administrators, Wookieepedia has become a valuable resource to fans both casual and obsessive, as well as to Star Wars authors. It's becoming the new nexus for everyone who wants to know as much as Yoda about that galaxy far, far away."
Abel G. Peña

The Force is strong with this one!

What's even cooler is that there are wikis all over the place. Open source, they use the same system as Wikipedia et al.

I, for one, was delighted to find a Civilization IV wiki. Unfortunatly, as of the last time I visited, there wasn't much content to it, but I'm sure it will imporove. (That fact was a suprise to me, given the fact that the Civ series is said to be one of the best-selling of all time, but I digress.)

I like the idea of open source. As time goes on, I look forward to seeing more wikis.

(I wonder if libertarianism has a wiki? [lightbulb])
