Citizen Soldiers

Instapundit reports:

A PACK, NOT A HERD: "A passenger who claimed to have a bomb aboard a United Airlines flight was subdued by passengers as the California-bound plane was diverted to Denver International Airport, airport officials said." Nice to see that people haven't gotten slack since 9/11.
Indeed! Glenn Reynolds wrote in his book, "An Army of Davids", how Americans had responded within minutes of hearing about the attacks on the World Trade Center on 9/11, effectively nullifying the terrorist's strategy of using planes as weapons ever again. That is why Flight 93 never made it to its intended target.

Great to know everyday Americans are stepping up to do their part to keep themselves, their loved ones, and their country safe.

P.S. -- Hugh Hewitt shares his thoughts after seeing the movie, Flight 93.
