On Monday, I was able to get together my dear friend, Hiroko, who was visiting from Tokyo. We returned to Sushitomi, where we used to gather with our other Japanese friends. After being gone five-and-a-half years, my favorite waitress at my favorite restaurant still remembers my favorite order. (Gyudon with tamago, miso soup, spicy tuna rolls, and ocha.) Yokudekimashita, Akiko! Sushitomi wa oishi desu!
