Lots of ex's live in Texas?The Pew Research Center recently released an analysis of data on marriage and divorce rates by state. The numbers are primarily drawn from Census Bureau surveys. An interactive map of the data is here.Follow the link for an overview of many sobering statistics and see the Pew Research Center's website for much more data and an interactive map which has data for each state showing percentage of population currently married, percent divorce, median age at first marriage, and percentage married three times or more.
DC currently has the lowest rate of people currently married and the highest average age at first marriage.
