The Two Social Sciences?

Fabio Rojas:
Economics has good models for how people respond to prices, but they seem to utterly struggle with topics that scream for complexity (e.g., explaining the Great Depression & many macro topics). In contrast, qualitative sciences seem to do better at stuff like discussing cultural change, but I wouldn’t trust ‘em with stuff like tax policy analsyis.
