barack may be president now. The people actually want Biden to be our next president. Out of McCain, Palin, and even Barack, Biden is the only one wanted. McCain is too old, Palin is a woman, and Barack is black, but Biden is next in line in event of something happening to barack. This may be history and good history in my view, but let's get real people.
The big deal that remains to be seen is whether he'll execute from the left, where he has typically voted in his senate career, or from the center - which is pretty much how he ran and won.
New energy policy, for example is good, but not if it spikes prices to kingdom come in order to artificially promote new forms that aren't ready for prime time.
It's going to be an interesting wait and see year.

Congratulations Barack Obama!
It is indeed an amazing night.
Certainly, Obama will not be perfect. But he will bring a unique set of skills to the White House, and a new face to the world.
Some of the positives:
Instant elevation of our reputation in the world
A far more intelligent and intellectual approach to governing
We'll finally get a national energy policy
Young people will be inspired once again
We'll have a President who can communicate well, which is actually an invaluable skill
Aren't all US presidential elections historic, pretty much by definition?
