To Tennessee And Back Again

I made it back safe and sound from my trip to Tennessee this weekend. I drove down on Friday and back on Sunday. (About 8 hours each way.)

On the way down, I stopped by Virginia Tech for a quick stop by my old campus. It was my first time back since the shootings last year.



It was wonderful seeing my friends Christy and James get married and seeing many friends from Orlando.











I stayed in a cabin (called the "Bear Hug") with my good friends Nathan and Karen and their kids, and Brian. Both nights, Brian, Nathan, and I stayed up until the wee hours of the morning catching up and talking about friendship, politics, religion, economics, and whatever else happened to come to mind. It was just like old times.

I dropped Brian off at the Knoxville airport on my way back home and got in ~ 8:00 PM last night. I have to get to Fairfax campus first thing this morning for some training on using an MRI machine for economics experiments and then my Patents class this afternoon. I wish I could have stayed in Tennessee longer.



I'm still trying to remember why it was I left Orlando? Don't know what I was thinking...
