Screen on the Green

I saw Arsenic and Old Lace with Cary Grant for my first time ever on the National Mall with some friends last night. It was an absolutely hilarious movie and part of the Screen on the Green program the National Park Service is putting on this summer. (They show a movie on the National Mall every Monday night for five weeks.)

The remaining shows this summer are:
August 4 - The Apartment (1960)
August 11 - Superman (1978)
I'll be out of town on the 4th, but hope to make it to Superman. It's a ton of fun and particularly neat watching the movies outside with the lighted Capitol Building in the background.
