Self-Interest As Seen In The Wild

Ali goes for a run and demonstrates further evidence that people really are self-interested:

I just got back from another one of my late night runs, double the distance of my longest run for almost a year (that I can recall anyway)... I run into all kinds of wild animals on this route.

A couple of runs ago, I ran into two foxes, and had to slow down to let them get out of the way. Today, I had an SUV full of girls hoot at me. I don't know if they were making fun of me or complementing me. I shall let my over-inflated ego assume the latter =P

Or is this more like self-deception? Whichever one it is, way to go Ali!
