Q10: The Minimalist Word Processor

After writing my post on how the simplicity of the AlphaSmart Neo makes it a great tool for writing, I came across Q10, a full-screen, simplistic text editor that is great at what it does. Q10 fills up your whole screen, keeping your focus on the writing you are doing. It is a no-frills text editor that hides everything else you have on your computer (including your taskbar), helping you to concentrate on the words you are writing. It hearkens back to the early days of DOS on the original IBM PC. The best part about Q10 is that it is a small file that you can run off of a USB drive. Highly recommended!

If Q10 doesn't strike your fancy, here is a round-up of 10 other minimalistic word processors.
