My friend, Angela, has another article in the Wall Street Journal:
Latest at the Wall Street Journal. They asked for this piece following another case where the Islamic Council in Malaysia, claiming that a woman had converted from Christianity to Islam six days before her death, refused to release her body for burial back to her Buddhist husband. Three weeks after her death, the civil court eventually ruled for the husband — but only after the Islamic Council decided the alleged conversion was not properly carried out under Sharia law and withdrew its case.
