In the midst of exams, I've also just started my 1L job search for a legal job for next summer. I've started by sending my resumes out to several IP (intellectual property) firms in the area. (With my engineering background, I figure IP is where I have my strongest competitive advantage.)
I just got an e-mail from one of the firms on Wednesday asking me for some more info. I don't want to read too much into this, but am excited to get my first response this soon.
As soon as I get my Contracts exam out of the way on Tuesday, I hope to start exploring more potential employment opportunities for the summer.
