A first look:
Mac users have been waiting since 2004 for an update to Microsoft's ubiquitous office suite, and especially eagerly since Apple switched to Intel processors. Now that the 2008 release is quickly approaching, it's time to take a look at what Office 2008 for Mac has in store. The new Office is chock full of interface enhancements following in the footsteps of Office 2007 for Windows, including a new ribbon-like toolbar, lots of snazzy animations, and a much snappier performance.Follow the link for more screenshots and additional review.
Apple is also preparing for the launch of Leopard, the latest version of the Mac's OS X operating system. It starts shipping October 26th. Here's a look at what's new. Watch a guided tour here.

I'm about 118% interested in what they do to Entourage. I use Entourage at work on an Exchange network (probably one of less than eight employees out of over two hundred that do) and Entourage is simply horrible. It's like they took Outlook and then stripped away random functions. Then half of the ones that were left were reprogrammed to just act funny. I actually have to run over to one of our hoteling desks to schedule meetings because Entourage is so flaky (for lack of a better term) with that.
