I have just discovered a very cool service that allows you to rent unlimited books starting at just $9.99 per month. It’s like Netflix, but for books. It’s called BooksFree.
They have been featured in the Oprah magazine, Consumer Reports, Reader’s Digest, The New York Times, the Washington Post, and Smart Money.
Just like Netflix, there are no due dates or late fees and shipping is free. BooksFree is truly a book lovers dream come true with over 79,000 titles to choose from. For those who like to listen to books during their daily commute, they also have an excellent selection of over 13,000 audiobooks to choose from.
I love the idea of renting audiobooks. They are a great way to help ease a long commute or make a road trip more enjoyable. Of course, that costs a little extra.
For my friends down in Orlando, a good tip I learned while living down there is that the Orange County Public Library will deliver books to your door for free. It is a fantastic service that I used on several occasions. They also have downloadable audio books.

Netflix for books is a very cool concept that is not only implemented by Booksfree, but another service offers book rental of hardcovers and paperbacks called BookSwim.com - http://www.bookswim.com. Just a heads-up on what else is around.
