The Benefits of Small Town Living

I'm out in Warrenton visiting my folks for the weekend. While here, I'm paying personal property taxes on my truck and renewing my registration. (Since I lived on campus my first year, I've used my parent's address as my permanent address.)

I came to the DMV first and was told I had to go to the courthouse to pay my taxes before I could renew my registration. Before leaving, I got a number they would call when it's my turn in the que. I was able to make it over to the courthouse, pay my tax, and get back to the DMV before my number was called. I'm now waiting my turn...

The illustrates two things:

1) The beauty of living in a small town.
2) The inefficiency of the DMV.
