Here are some photos I took today during my walk through the Manassas Battlefield. This is where the American Civil War started with the First Battle of Bull Run.
I had ancestors on both sides of the Civil War. When visiting places like this, I can't help but think of stories my grandma told me that her grandpa told her about his experiences in the war.
