Four Down and One to Go!

I just gave a presentation and turned in a 28-page paper for my agent-based modeling class last night. That was my fourth class I've wrapped up for the semester (acutally three classes and a seminar). Today at 1:30, I am taking my last final for my economics of religion class and turning in my class project. This will be the end of my second year here at GMU.

I have written literally over 60-pages in the last week, read ~ 500 pages, prepared and given presentations, and not gotten much sleep over the past week. I plan on crashing hard tonight. I'm in the process of trying to finish up a few more readings and notes for my exam today and then hope to take a nap beforehand. I've been filled with a great sense of satisfaction as I've finished up each class and I am looking forward to more next year.

This second year has gone so much better for me on many levels than my first. I finally feel as though I've been hitting my stride and getting back into the groove of being a full-time student. With the exception of the lack of sleep, I hope I can keep up my recent spurt of reading and writing into the summer and next year.

I will close for now as I still have quite a bit to do before the exam, including getting in a bit of sleep. Right now I'm in the student center which is open 24-hours a day during finals week. I came here after class last night to work on wrapping up everything for the semester and am still here... I very much look forward to a long, deep sleep tonight!

As of this afternoon, summer will have arrived!
