I just installed this on my iPod and will try it out over the next few days. It just took a few minutes to install and the whole thing takes up less than 1.5 MB. Unless you make extensive use of the Notes feature on the iPod, you probably won't miss the space.
It is available in versions for both the iPod Video and the iPod Nano.
