More on Virginia Tech Shootings

Virginia Tech mourns

Streaming video of yesterday's convocation is available on hokiesports.com. Many students chose to wear school colors rather than black to show their unity and support of one another.

Virginia Tech continues to update their webpage with more details on the tragedy.

Cho's parents have apparently been hospitalized for shock. Please keep them in your prayers along with the rest of the families, students, faculty, university personnel, and loved ones affected by this tragedy.

Thank you to everyone who has sent me e-mails, text messages, phone calls, adn voice mails. Your prayers and concern for me are sincerely appreciated and cherished. I have shed tears and am still in shock by all of this, but am doing well. I was in fear of seeing the name of a professor I might have known among the victims, but did not know any of the names that have been released. I can't imagine what those who did know a victim are going through right now. Blacksburg was my home and I feel very connected to all of this.

Lists and photos of the victims can be seen here, here, and here.

Update: George Mason has a website set-up for Virginia Tech Outreach Efforts.

Thursday night, GMU will be holding a University-Wide Vigil Service in Mason's North Plaza at 7:00 p.m. (rain or shine).

The University of Florida will have a candlelight vigil program held at 8 p.m. tonight in the Reitz Student Union amphitheater in memory of the 32 killed.

It is touching to see so many lending their support of this tragedy. Here is a video tribute showing support from universities across the nation.

Update: Here is an incredible photo of the candle light vigil from Virginia Tech's Drillfield.
