This is now my 1,000th post. I started this blog just under a year ago on February 15th last year meaning I've averaged just over 3 posts per day. As of this moment, I've had 38,055 visitors to the blog so far and hope to continue growing in readership. I've enjoyed blogging immensely and look forward to the next 1,000 posts!

Some highlights for me have been being contacted by several authors of books I've mentioned, getting linked to by Greg Mankiw and Marginal Revolution, having the CEO of a company contact me and mail me a couple books and a jacket, and meeting a number of very successful bloggers outside of GMU (including Arnold Kling, Jane Galt, Ezra Klein, Will Wilkinson, Megan Non-McArdle, Michelle Malkin, and many more). Needless to say, I've been having a ton of fun!

I wanted to say thanks to all my readers out there. I sincerely appreciate everyone who stops by to have a look. Without all of you, blogging would be nowhere near so much fun. I am looking forward to the next 1,000 posts and hope you are too!
