I first met Betty Tillman at a Public Choice Outreach I attended at GMU last summer. From the first time I met her, she told me to call her 'Momma Betty' and the name fits. She has been James Buchanan's secretary for over 44 years and during this time has endeared herself to graduate students without number, myself included.
'Momma Betty' told me to come see her anytime I needed any help with anything at school and gives me hugs every time I see her. Exuding warmth and always with a smile on her face, 'Momma Betty' is a genuine delight and has added much charm to my experience here at Mason.
