Shot Heard Round the World

I was in Concord, Massachusetts yesterday and saw the Old North Bridge where "The Shot Heard Round the World" was fired. This is where the Americans first shot at British troops under orders and signified the start of the American Revolution.

Seeing it reminded me of this old Schoolhouse Rock cartoon. It used to come on TV on Saturday mornings when I was a kid:
